Axiomtek has announced the release of its new industrial motherboard IMB550, which will be among the first models on the market to support 15th-generation Intel Core Ultra 9/7/5 processors (Arrow Lake-S architecture). The board is built in the ATX form factor and based on the Intel W880 chipset, making it a powerful and versatile platform for next-generation industrial, server, and embedded computing systems.
The Axiomtek IMB550 motherboard combines high performance and reliability required for modern industrial automation, machine vision, data processing, and intelligent control systems. It supports up to 192 GB of DDR5-4400 memory across four DIMM slots with ECC module support, which is especially important for mission-critical applications where stability and data protection are essential.
The manufacturer has provided extensive expansion capabilities. Two full-featured PCIe Gen5 x16 slots ensure support for the latest graphics cards, AI accelerators, and other high-performance devices.
In addition, the board features two M.2 Key M (2280) PCIe x4 slots with support for RAID 0/1 arrays. Four additional SATA 3.0 ports support RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations, enabling reliable data storage solutions.
Special attention should be given to the new board’s connectivity capabilities. The IMB550 is equipped with one Gigabit port (Intel I219-LM controller with vPro support) and two 2.5 Gigabit ports (Intel I226-V controller). An optional version of the board is available with an IPMI interface based on the Intel I210-AT and AST2600 controllers, enabling remote system management and monitoring.
