This spring, Intel launched the newest and most advanced line of 10th generation processors, codenamed Comet Lake. Along with this, mainboards with support for the 10th generation of Intel CPUs appeared in the office segment. In the industrial segment, there usually was a delay of at least 1-2 years for CPU boards with support for corresponding CPU generations to appear. But that is a thing of the past. Nowadays, the latest Intel technologies are already available for industrial computers.
Advantech, one of the first in the industrial segment, has launched 4 new mainboards: AIMB-707, ASMB-787, ASMB-816 and ASMB-976. These CPU boards differ in performance and functionality, but they are all designed for building highly reliable industrial systems.
AIMB-707 board
The AIMB-707 board is the continuation of the popular AIMB series of classic industrial motherboards. It has ATX form factor, offers basic functionality and supports the 10th generation of Intel processors. There are two versions available for order: AIMB-707G2-00A1 and AIMB-707VG-00A1.
