NX8MM-35 is a powerful industrial single-board computer (SBC) from ICOP Technology. The first models of the NX8MM-35 series were released in April 2023. Within a year of the launch, the NX8MM-35 series platforms became very popular among the industrial segment. Due to this, ICOP decided to update and improve them in 2024.

NX8MM-35 board comes with an NXP i.MX 8M Mini Quad CPU.
The NXP i.MX 8M Mini Quad is an embedded multi-core processor designed for industrial applications. This module combines a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor with a Cortex-M4 microcontroller.
ICOP’s NX8MM-35 has 2 to 4 GB of soldered LPDDR4 RAM, operating at a frequency of up to 3200 MT/s. It supports Yocto Linux and Android operating systems.
In addition to the reliable configuration of the quad-core processor, the single-board computer boasts exceptional image output capabilities using the MIPI-CSI standard with the ability to process video from 1080p to 4K.
For connecting storage media, the device offers from 16 to 64 GB of built-in memory, implemented using a UFS chip and a slot for installing a Micro SD Card.
The NX8MM-35 platform has a wide range of interfaces and input/output ports:
- Display: LVDS and HDMI interface
- Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB x4, COMx4, i2c, SPI, GPIO, Touch, MiniPCIe with SIM card holder and HD Audio.
- Temperature range: from -20°C to +70°C or optionally from -40°C to +80°C
Main differences between the old and new design:
Interfaces:
- Old model: MIPI-DSI/HDMI interface
- New model: 24-bit LVDS/HDMI interface.
Peripheral bus:
- Old model: SPI x2
- New model: SPI x1 (switchable UART3)/touch panel controller/SIM card holder.
The LVDS and HDMI interfaces can be easily switched using a jumper. This flexibility allows for the use of NX8MM-35 in a wide range of applications, as well as the basis for assembling panel and fanless computers.
