IEI unveils HPCIE-Q470, the new half-size PICMG 1.3 mainboard supporting 11th and 10th generation Intel Core i processors. The board has integrated graphics, 20 PCI Express lanes that can be used in various PCI Express x16, x8, x4 and x1 configurations, as well as two 2.5GbE LANs and one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with up to 10 Gb/s bandwidth.
A wide range of I/O interfaces, the ability to install a variety of CPU performance, support for IEI universal passive backplanes and various industrial enclosure options allows you to create a compact system with high processing power and flexible expansion options for various industries, including video surveillance, transportation, and automation.
The HPCIE-Q470 mainboard has an LGA1200 socket and supports 11 and 10 generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3, Pentium and Celeron processors. The performance gain of the 11th generation CPU compared to 10 and 9 can be seen in this comparison image:
Video graphics are built into the CPU and can output up to 4096 x 2160@30Hz resolution to a single HDMI 1.4 port. For RAM, two DDR4 SO-DIMM 2933 MHz slots are provided with support for up to 64 GB of RAM memory.
Among the I/O interfaces are: two 2.5GbE LANs, three USB3.2, two COMs, as well as SMBus and I²C buses. In addition to 20 PCIe lanes, the board has two M.2 expansion slots for installing a Wi-Fi 6E wireless module and a high-speed NVME SSD drive.
