Durabook announced the full compatibility of its rugged solutions with the modern Windows 11 operating system and the readiness to upgrade, Z14I, S14I, S15AB laptops and R11, R11L, and U11I tablet PCs.
In the first half of 2022, Microsoft will provide current owners and users of Durabook solutions with a free upgrade to Windows 11. Upgrade timelines will vary by device. Users will receive a notification fr om Microsoft that they can upgrade, and then they can choose to upgrade immediately or later.
Windows 11 is an even faster, simpler, and cyber-secure operating system that delivers state-of-the-art performance and lets users do the following:
- Optimize screen space and workflow, conveniently arrange important applications and windows that intelligently adapt to the size and dimensions of the device screen
- Pick up wh ere you left off by simply clicking on the appropriate anchor group in the toolbar
- Create multiple virtual desktops to organize unrelated ongoing projects
- Integrate Microsoft Teams into your taskbar for seamless collaboration with unlimited connectivity anytime
