The Ethernet switch features eight RJ45 LAN ports that can be flexibly configured as uplink or downlink. Each port offers an impressive bandwidth of 10/100/1000 Mbps, increasing the efficiency and responsiveness of the system.

For optimal performance even under heavy loads, the DP208-LV remains compatible with relevant standards. It supports Quality of Service (QoS) for effective network traffic management and allows the transmission of Jumbo Frames with a capacity of up to 9216 bytes. An advanced Broadcast Storm Protection, capable of filtering up to 100,000 packets per second, protects the system from information overload and preserves its integrity.

Additionally, the Industrial PoE Switch has a 1.5-bit Packet Buffer Memory as a temporary cache. This innovative buffer helps avoid data loss that can occur during unexpected data flow peaks. Thus, the DP208-LV guarantees unparalleled continuous performance, ensuring that your data remains secure and intact.

Support for Multiple Parallel IP Devices with High Power Consumption

The interface architecture of the DP208-LV complies with current Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards, including IEEE 802.af and PoE+ 802.at. This allows for a considerable output power of up to 30 watts per port, capable of powering a variety of devices, from IP cameras to embedded PCs and displays.

It's important to note that the total power of all ports is technically limited to 120 watts. This allows, for example, the simultaneous operation of eight PoE devices or four PoE+ consumers. Of course, any mix of both standards is possible as long as the allowable total power is not exceeded.

Furthermore, the optional redundant power supply of the switch is remarkably flexible and can be implemented with low voltage (LV) of 12 volts or 24 volts direct current (DC) thanks to the integrated Booster Power Inputs. This ensures a constant and reliable performance, regardless of the changing requirements at the deployment site.

The DP208-LV stands out for its efficient and silent operation without mechanical wear parts, allowing maintenance-free continuous operation 24/7, 365 days a year.
