IPC980
Axiomtek has announced a new industrial system IPC980, designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions. The new model features a high level of protection against moisture and dust according to the IP67 standard and the use of modern M12 connection technologies, which allows the device to be effectively used in industry and the transport sector.
M12 connectors of the new model:
- Ethernet M12 X-coded: two 2.5 Gbps ports and one Gigabit Ethernet port
- Power M12 A-coded: DC power connector
- Serial M12 A-coded: RS-232/422/485
- Two USB 2.0 A-Coded ports
- There is also an optional connection of two more M12 A-coded connectors
To achieve the best performance, the IPC980A comes with two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots with the ability to expand up to 96 GB of RAM.
For data storage, one 2.5-inch drive (SATA HDD/SSD) and one M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe x4 interface, 2280 format) are supported.
For connecting USB devices, the IPC980 embedded computer provides four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one internal USB 2.0 port.
To connect a display, there is an HDMI 1.4b connector with a maximum resolution of up to 4096 x 2160.
The built-in option for installing a mini-PCIe module with a SIM card allows for remote monitoring and telemetry, which significantly expands the scope of the system.
The IPC980 is certified according to the EN 61000-6-2 standard, which guarantees electromagnetic compatibility, and is vibration tested according to MIL-STD-810H requirements.
Windows and Linux operating systems are supported.
Operating temperature from -40°C to +60°C
