Advantech has presented a new single board computer - MIO-5379.

Perfomance
The MIO-5379 is based on modern Intel Core Ultra processors of the Arrow Lake-H and Meteor Lake-U lines, delivering high performance with low power consumption.
For maximum performance, up to 96 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM with IBECC can be installed.

Ethernet
Advantech’s new CPU board comes with two independent network controllers—an Intel i210 (LAN1 - 1 Gbps) and an Intel i226 (LAN2 - 2.5 Gbps)—supporting Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), which ensures reliable data transfer with minimal latency.
The LAN1 port features EdgeBMC (Edge Bandwidth Management Controller) for remote system management independent of the main software via a dedicated out-of-band (OOB) channel.
I/O interfaces
MIO-5379 is able to simultaneously output to four monitors via eDP, two HDMI, and USB-C interfaces with DisplayPort Alternate Mode enabled.
The platform also includes: USB ports: 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.2 ports, and one USB Type-C port.
Serial ports and buses: four serial COM outputs, 2xCAN-FD, and 8-bit GPIO.
Expandability
The MIO-5379 supports installing optional modules, such as the MIOe-UMXM and MIOe-TCPD.
The MIOe-UMXM is an expansion board for installing an additional MXM 3.1 graphics module, which increases graphics performance and supports up to four displays with 4K or 8K resolution.
The MIOe-TCPD is a module designed to provide power to external devices at up to 100W via USB-C. It supports output voltages of 20V, 15V, 12V, and 9V with a DC current of up to 5A.
