01 February 2022 Product News

IEI has presented its 2U server PUZZLE-IN005 based on the 10th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors for cybersecurity and telecom systems. The server is built on C627A chipset and enables installation of up to 1,280 GB DDR4.

Unlike other servers, this cybersecurity server features multiple network ports. PUZZLE-IN005 enables installation of up to 8 network modules or 64 network interfaces:

  • PulM-100G2SF-E810 - 2 x 100GbE QSFP28
  • PulM-25G2SF-MLX - 2 x 25 GbE SFP28
  • PulM-10G4SF-XL710 - 4 x 10 GbE SFP+
  • PulM-1G8SF-I350 - 8 x GbE RJ45
  • PulM-M2-2S - 2 x M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe (3.0 x4) SSDs

The PUZZLE-IN005 cooling system features 2 CPU fans and 5 general fans with the hot-swapping function.

Additionally, the server features one PCIe Gen4 x8 (FHHL) slot and two M.2 M key 2280 (PCIe Gen3 x4 nVMe) slots, and high-speed storage bandwidth is provided by four U.2 (PCIe Gen 4) connectors for SSDs. U.2 (PCIe Gen 4) interface is 10 faster than SATA and 2 times faster than U.2 (PCIe 3.0). OS supported by the server: Linux 18.04 (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019.
