Nexcom APPC Series
The APPC (Applied Panel PC) series are fanless panel PCs with integrated industrial motherboards. They come in various display sizes (12.1″, 15″, 15.6″, 17″, 19″, up to 21.5″) with either resistive or projected-capacitive touchscreens. Front bezels are sealed to IP65 and backlit LCDs are typically 400–500 cd/m² brightness. Processors range from Intel® Celeron (e.g. J1900 or J3455) to more powerful Alder Lake-N (N97) CPUs, paired with DDR3 or DDR5 memory. For example, the APPC-1660-A01 is a 15.6″ FHD panel PC with an Intel Alder Lake-N97 processor and DDR5 RAM. It features a flush narrow bezel, dual 2.5GbE LAN, multiple serial ports, mini-PCIe and M.2 slots (for WWAN/SSD), and even a second video output via USB-C. In general, APPC models offer rich connectivity: multiple Gigabit LAN ports, RS232/422/485 serial channels, USB 3.2 Gen2 and USB-C ports, audio jacks, and expansion slots for wireless or fieldbus cards. Nexcom APPD Series
The APPD (Applied Panel Display) series are industrial touch monitors without an integrated PC. These displays are designed for IP65-rated flush-mount HMI installations where only the screen and touch panel are needed. Display sizes include 12.1″ (XGA), 15″ (XGA), 15.6″ (FHD), 17″ (SXGA), 19″ (SXGA), and 21.5″ (FHD). Many models use 5-wire resistive touchscreens, while higher-end sizes (15.6″ FHD and 21.5″ FHD) offer 10-point capacitive multi-touch. Brightness is typically 350–500 cd/m². Input interfaces include VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort video inputs, plus a USB or RS-232 connection for the touch sensor. Front bezels are IP65-sealed (plastic or aluminum), and units run on 24VDC-in. For example, the APPD-2100-2 is a 21.5″ FHD flush monitor with P-Cap multi-touch, 500 cd/m² brightness, and VGA/DP/DVI-I video inputs. Likewise, the APPD-1200-1 is a 12.1″ XGA flush LCD with a resistive panel, 500 cd/m² brightness, and VGA/DVI/DP inputs.
