Winmate has announced the release of an exclusive rugged tablet PC with a screen diagonal of 15.6" and the ability to integrate discrete graphics from NVIDIA and Intel - M156AD-M1. The new rudded tablet PC M156AD-M1 comes with a 15.6" FULL HD display with a projected capacitive touch screen and 800 nits brightness with Winmate's Optical Bonding technology for working in bright sunlight. The sensor supports operation with gloves, a stylus and in rain mode.
The tablet PC is based on a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor with a maximum clock frequency of 4.4 GHz. The tablet supports from 16 to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and PCIe storage from 256GB to 2TB. Optionally, the tablet computer can be equipped with a second PCIe solid-state drive up to 2TB.
The features of the new tablet PC include the following functions:
- Supports NVIDIA A500 and Intel A370 discrete graphics
- Supports two quick-release hot-swappable batteries
- Supports two RJ-45 ports
- Optional support for two HDMI interfaces with 4K resolution
- Communication capabilities have also been significantly updated. The new M156AD-M1 tablet PC has support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth version 5. In addition, according to the developer company, the new model will receive support for 5G networks.
The overall dimensions of the tablet PC made it possible to implement a wide range of input/output ports:
- 3 x USB 3.0 (Type A)
- 1 x USB 3.0 (Type C) with Power Delivery support
- 2 x RJ45-10/100/1000 GigaLAN ports
- Combo Audio port
- Optional 2 x HDMI 4K outputs
As for rugged design, the new tablet PC M156AD-M1 has an IP rating of IP65 against moisture and dust, has been certified according to the military standard MIL-STD-810H (shock, vibration and drop from a height of 90 cm) and has electromagnetic protection according to the MIL-STD-461G standard.
The tablet is powered by two hot-swappable lithium-ion batteries with a total working time of up to 11 hours without recharging.
