Nexcom has designed the new compact vehicle panel computers VMC 2020 and VMC 220 for operation at subzero temperatures and during rain, which is especially important in solutions for warehouses and logistics. The main difference between the two models is in the type of onboard processor: a 4-core Intel Atom E3950 is installed on the VMC 2020, and a 4-core NXP i.MX 8M Cortex-A53 is installed on the VMC 220.
Both panel computers have 8" TFT LCD touch screen with 3 mm IK08 protective glass, which can withstand shocks up to 5J. In addition, the chassis is completely waterproof and has full IP65 protection rate.
A large selection of I/O ports allows you to connect most devices directly, including up to 4 analog cameras, RS232/RS422/RS485 and CANBus devices, as well as optionally install RFID, GPS/Glonass or LTE/5G NR modules.
The dimensions of the new panel computers make it possible to install VMC 2020 or VMC 220 in a limited space inside of a vehicle, and the wide operational temperature range ensures that the solution works all year round.
