iEi announces the release of the most advanced industrial board in the ATX form factor family - IMBA-R680!
The new processor board IMBA-R680 is the direct successor of the popular and well-known series of industrial boards IMBA. Any motherboard is a fundamental, main connecting link in a computing system, therefore, it is very important that, in addition to using a reliable element base, an industrial CPU board can provide access to functionality that is not inferior to modern similar boards from the office segment. iEi engineers designed and built the newest IMBA-R680 mainboard, following the rule "industrial reliability + the latest IT technologies".

Support for 12th/13th Gen Intel Core i processors
The new mainboard has an LGA1170 socket with an Intel R680E chipset. Alder Lake-S generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron CPU with TDP up to 125W are supported. Maximum supported number of cores is 16, of threads - 24.
Support for 4400MHz DDR5 RAM
Type of RAM slots 4x288-pin DIMM DDR5 up to 4400MHz. The maximum possible RAM size is 128GB, ECC support.
PCIe x8 Gen 5 expansion slots
To maximize the basic functionality, IMBA-R680 has the following expansion slots: 2xPCIe x16 Gen5 (2xPCIe x8), 3xPCIe x4 Gen4, 2xPCIe x1 Gen3.
Support for 2 x M.2 NVMe drives
For storage connection, the new CPU board has 4xSATA III connectors with support for RAID 0/1/5/10. The main feature is the ability to install 2 ultra-fast M.2 2242/2280 NVMe format drives.
