NEXCOM has introduced a new 2U server NSA-7150A powered by the 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor and Intel C627A chipset for high performance telecom solutions. The NSA-7150A server is a highly scalable and ready-to-use solution for a variety of telecommunications tasks, including in the field of cybersecurity, building a network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI) (Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure), private and public 5G networks.
Previously, telecommunications equipment was a specialized device for a specific task, which was like a black box for the user. Manufacturers are now moving towards creating universal and open hardware platforms that provide the best performance within an affordable budget and maintain ease of scaling. To meet industry leading standards, NEXCOM joined the Intel Select Solution program and developed the NSA-7150A server.
The NSA-7150A server supports two 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and up to 8 PCIe 4.0 LAN modules, which provides high performance and data transfer speed, which is especially in demand when creating an NFV network functions virtualization solution.
The server has 20 slots for installing DDR4 RAM with a maximum capacity of up to 2560 GB LRDIMM. The server also supports Intel Optane Barlow Pass generation smart memory technology. Two 2.5” slots and one M.2 2280 Key M connector are provided for installing storage drives.
