The PLANET LRP-111U-KIT is an innovative Single-port PoE over UTP Extender Kit. It offers long-range data and power transmission for distances up to 800 meters (2,624 feet) over UTP/STP cables. This makes it ideal for connecting remote PoE IP cameras, wireless APs, or access control systems that comply with 802.3at/bt PoE standards. Designed to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 degrees Celsius, the LRP-111U-KIT ensures reliable performance in climatically demanding environments, simplifying the installation of remote PoE powered devices.
Components of the Long Reach PoE over UTP Extender Kit
LRP-111U-KIT comprises two main components:
The LRP-111U-KIT transmits data and power over UTP/STP cable to the LRP-111UE, which can be positioned up to 800 meters away. The LRP-111UE then delivers up to 60 watts of power to a PoE PD over Ethernet cable, facilitating the expansion of IP surveillance networks or wireless LAN infrastructure over long distances. Both devices feature compact, rugged metal housings rated IP30 for durability and are designed for wall-mounted installations, making them suitable for space-limited locations.
