PLANET has launched its latest innovation, the Renewable Energy Industrial 802.3at PoE Ethernet Switch, BSP-115PV-15A , designed to utilize renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. This switch efficiently powers remote devices like IP cameras and wireless access points, aligning with environmentally conscious energy practices while offering economic advantages.

Key Features of the BSP-115PV-15A

The BSP-115PV-15A comes equipped with five 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports that support the 802.3at PoE+ injector function, delivering a total PoE power budget of up to 120 watts. Additionally, it has a 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber port, making it ideal for large-scale applications in remote or expansive locations such as national parks, deserts, and highways. Designed to meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, the switch helps reduce the environmental impact of powering connected devices.

Zero-Carbon, Stable Power Supply

The switch allows 12V/24V lithium, lead-acid, or lithium iron batteries to recharge through renewable sources like solar power, ensuring a zero-carbon footprint. This system ensures that even after dark, outdoor wireless surveillance systems remain operational, as the batteries charged during the day provide power at night.

Smart Power and Battery Management

The BSP-115PV-15A features advanced battery management, offering real-time battery usage status, over-budget PoE port disconnection protection, and other smart functionalities to ensure optimal energy usage.

Intuitive LCD Monitoring for Energy Efficiency

The switch is equipped with an intuitive LCD screen that displays vital information such as solar input, battery power, PoE power, temperature, and humidity, allowing users to efficiently manage energy and optimize performance.

Intelligent Device Monitoring

With the PD alive check function, the switch monitors the connected devices in real-time. If a device becomes unresponsive, the switch automatically resets the PoE power, ensuring continuous operation and reducing the need for manual maintenance.

Extended Power and Data Transmission

The BSP-115PV-15A supports Ethernet and PoE transmission distances of up to 250 meters, well beyond the standard 100-meter limit, making it a cost-effective solution for extending network reach.

Flexible Battery Options

This switch accommodates a range of battery options, including lead-acid, lithium, and lithium iron batteries, providing flexibility for various application needs. Each option offers unique advantages, from cost-effectiveness to high energy efficiency and durability.

Enhanced Battery Protection

The BSP-115 series also includes a temperature sensor to protect the battery from overheating. If the battery temperature exceeds 70-75°C, the high-current PoE supply will shut off to cool down and prevent damage. A humidity sensor is also integrated to monitor environmental conditions.
