Distinctive features of Thin Mini ITX fr om the classic Mini ITX are as follows:

- Element base height. With the same board dimensions of 170x170 mm, the height of the element base for the Mini ITX is approximately 44 mm, while for the Thin Min ITX it is 25 mm, which is 43% smaller. This allows Thin Mini ITX form factor boards to be used in very compact cases to create state of the art functional solutions in a minimal footprint.

- External power supply use. The Thin Mini ITX form factor board is always powered exclusively by an external power source, usually an AC DC power adapter. The power connector can be either DC Jack or terminal block, but DC Jack is more common.

The new MANO561 is based on 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors, and features the following:

  • support for Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 processors (LGA1700 socket)
  • H610 chipset
  • 2xDDR4 SO-DIMM (up to 64GB max)
  • 2xUSB 3.2 Gen1 and 5xUSB 2.0
  • 1x2.5GbE LAN, 1xGbE LAN and 4xCOM
  • expansion slots 1xPCIe x16, 1xM.2 key E и 1xM.2 key B
  • full-sized Mini PCIe slot
  • 1xSATA-600
  • power requirements: from 12V to 24V DC

There are two options available, as it is already customary for Axiomtek: MANO561-H-S, the standard classic complect, wh ere the board is packaged in an individual box with a set of accessories, and MANO561-H-B, the so-called Bulk option, which means board and back plate for I/O ports only.

The catalog of industrial boards with support for the 12th generation of Intel processors is increasingly expanding from well-known manufacturers in the industrial segment of the global market. New items appear in various form factors, but the new MANO561 mainboard is an exceptional novelty in the Thin Mini ITX format, thanks to a balanced combination of high performance and cutting-edge functionality.
