The newest IEI’s tKINO-ULT6 industrial mainboard based on the 11th generation Tiger Lake-UP3 processor has entered mass production stage. Compared to the 2019 Whiskey Lake U CPU, Tiger Lake-UP3 is 22% faster in single-threaded mode and 32% faster in multi-threaded mode. Also, the performance of the integrated Iris Xe graphics core has increased by 3.5 times. The tKINO-ULT6 board will be available in four configurations.
The low-end model tKINO-ULT6-C is based on Intel Celeron 6305E dual-core mobile processor.
The more popular models are tKINO-ULT6-i3 with Intel Core i3-1115G4E and tKINO-ULT6-i5 with Intel Core i5-1145G7E.
The high-end model tKINO-ULT6-i7 has Intel Core i7-1185G7E CPU, which is suitable for solving more demanding tasks.
All mainboards have two SO-DIMM slots for up to 64GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz.
As for data storage, both classic SATA drives and more modern formats M.2 2242 and 2280 with an M key can be used.
To install Wi-Fi or Bluetooth expansion modules, there is an M.2 2230 A key slot.
There are also four display interfaces: external Display Port and HDMI, and internal eDP and LVDS. In addition, the mainboard has one PCIe x8 expansion slot and 6 COM ports and can be powered from a 9-36 V DC power supply. High performance and 4 video outputs allow to create a universal solution for the areas of Digital Signage, video surveillance and industrial automation based on the new tKINO-ULT6 board.
