IGS-6325-4T2X is the first managed Ethernet switch that offers multiple 2.5 Gbps BASE-T RJ45 and 10 Gbps BASE-X SFP+ ports with Layer 3 routing in a rugged design for industrial use. The primary tasks of IGS-6325-4T2X is to provide delay-free communication in hybrid networks that use traditional LAN or WLAN 802.11 in parallel for local IT structures and SFP+ fiber optic lines as uplinks or for connecting external areas. To achieve high functionality and compatibility in different environments, the Ethernet switch, provides four 2.5 Gbps RJ45 and two 10 Gbps SFP+ ports, which can be independently configured and assigned to specific clients or applications via the integrated web interface. The IGS-6325-4T2X's maximum transfer rate of 60 Gbps non-blocking allows full utilization of all interfaces with near real-time forwarding without compromising data integrity or risks of data loss.
Rugged design for industrial use in harsh conditions
The IGS-6325-4T2X uses high-quality components and operates without active cooling in a very wide temperature range from -40° to +75° C. and it is tolerant to unstable input voltage between 9 VDC and 48 VDC. In addition, the Ethernet ports feature electrical isolation that protects the managed Ethernet switch against voltages up to 6 kV and eliminates damage from induction, short circuits or spontaneous spikes in the power supply. The fanless design and high tolerance to adverse conditions allow the Ethernet Switches to be installed in harsh environments, even though the proprietary chassis only uses shielding that meets the IP30 international standard.
