ICP DAS has introduced a 4-channel Ethernet version of the iSN-104-E. liquid leak detection module. The device signals when a leak of water or any conductive liquid is detected, and can also be used to monitor the water level in tanks.
The iSN-104-E liquid leak detection module is a smart leak detection device that can perform trigger and sound alarm functions, and also transmit leak detection information to the upper level via Ethernet.

The module can be easily integrated into various monitoring systems for remote control and notification, without requiring additional conversion modules. The iSN-104-E module is capable of monitoring sensor cables up to 500 meters long.
Water level sensor
The water level sensor is designed to detect leaks in specific locations or to detect water levels. The water leak sensor has two contacts. For the sensor to work, water must touch both contacts at the same time, thereby closing the circuit and triggering an alarm. The water leak sensor is ideal for water storage tanks, liquid tanks and other areas.

Unlike a point system that can only detect a leak in a limited area, a water-sensing cable is suitable for detecting leaks over a large area or when it is impossible to predict where exactly liquid may appear.
The iSN-104-E is ideal for real-time leak detection in critical locations such as server rooms, warehouses, libraries, museums and industrial plants. It can also be used to monitor the condition of equipment such as air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, liquid tanks and pump tanks, and other similar devices.

The connection setup for iSN-104-E can be done using Modbus TCP/UDP protocols. Different addresses can be set for Modbus TCP/UDP via hardware setup. With support for Ethernet and PoE, iSN-104-E can be easily integrated into existing HMI or SCADA systems, providing convenient maintenance in distributed control systems.
