Axiomtek has presented an embedded multi-slot computer IPC970 with support for high-performance processors and video cards for use in edge computing and artificial intelligence systems.
The new IPC970 has a socket for a 10 Gen Comet Lake S Intel Xeon or Core i7/i5/i3 CPU with up to 80W TDP, up to 128GB DDR4-2933 RAM, and a high-performance NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card with 10496 CUDA cores and 24GB VRAM GDDR6X.
The PC has 2 GLAN interfaces and 9 USB ports, but COM port modules, Ethernet, USB and any other expansion boards can be installed additionally in slots specially designed for this: 1 x PCIe x16, 2 x PCIe x8 (x4 signal), 1 x PCI Express Mini Card, 1 x M.2 Key E 2234 and 1 x M.2 Key B 3042/3050. Storage devices can be installed in 2 external hot-swap slots, or 1 internal slot or M.2 Key M 2280 (PCIe Gen3 x4) slot for fast NVMe SSDs.
Axiomtek specialists have put a lot of thought into the issue of convenience of using the new PC in an industrial environment, so all IPC970 interfaces are placed on one side of the chassis, and the operating temperature of the PC is in the range from -10°C to +70°C. This combination of key features allows to use to IPC970 to build a high-performance industrial solution for processing heavy algorithms, video graphics, neural networks, edge computing and much more.
