Thanks to the tiny design (100mm x 66mm dimensions) and highly effective Vortex86EX2 processor (power consumption is only 2.4 watts), the VEX2-6415 becomes an ideal solution for a wide range of tasks – from IoT to Automation in extremely cold and hot environments. The compact SBC has a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C by default, and from -40°C to +85°C as an option.
The VEX2-6415 SBC uses a Vortex86EX2 processor with two independent cores with clock frequencies of 600 MHz and 400 MHz, which supports different OS such as Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 6, 7, different distributions of Linux, QNX, and legacy DOS for a homogeneous IT infrastructure. The VEX2-6415 is equipped with 512MB DDR3 onboard RAM memory (can be increased to 1GB) and two Micro SD slots which can be supplemented by storage media.

The VEX2-6415 singe board computer features various I/O ports: four serial ports (2x RS232/485), three USB 2.0, 16-bit GPIO, LPT, two LAN, Parallel port, two PS/2. Also, there are two Mini PCIe ports available for expansion capabilities (for example for 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, WLAN). Moreover, the VEX2-6415 has a SIM card slot onboard.
