With the BPC-5080-1A1, Arestech offers an extensively equipped, powerful, robust, yet compact and attractively priced model that can be used in many applications and environments. The barebone system is based on an Intel Q370 chipset and can accommodate Intel Core-i3/i5/i7 and Celeron processors of the 8th generation (Coffeelake S) with a clock frequency of up to 4.0GHz. The CPU-internal graphics engine Intel® UHD Graphics 630 offers the possibility to operate up to three independent displays in 4k resolution on three display ports. The computer can hold up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, which should be more than sufficient for most applications.
At external interfaces the computer offers 4x USB 3.1, 4x USB 2.0, 2x COM (RS232/422/485), 3x DisplayPort, HD Audio and optionally 8bit DIO via a DB15 interface. Internally, the BPC-5080-1A1 has a full-size miniPCIe and an M.2 E key 2230 slot to expand the computer's range of functions. A further M.2 M key slot, which can accommodate memory modules in sizes 2242, 2260 and 2280, is also available. As further storage media, the computer offers space for two 2.5" HDDs or SSDs, which can be operated in RAID 0 or 1 group.
The power supply is realized via a DCin input, which can accept 12VDC fixed as well as 19-28VDC variable. Despite its high performance, comprehensive equipment and compact dimensions of only 238mm x 61mm x 245mm, the Box PC has a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.
The BPC-5080-1A1 is a real all-rounder with its extensive equipment (Triple Display, RAID, 8x USB etc.), the large variety of installable CPUs from Celeron to Core-i7, the flexible voltage input and the extremely wide operating temperature range.
