The slim design Medical Panel PC is equipped with a Full HD 21.5” Display with PCAP Multi-Touch (with supports up to 10 points), luminance of 250 cd/m² and 3000:1 contrast ratio. It features four external USB 3.0 (plus two USB 2.0 by pin header), one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port for serial data and two GbE LAN
Expansion options
The slim panel PC HID-2132 can take an optional of IET module, that will provide an HDMI port with 4K resolution and add two isolated ports: 1x USB 1.1 and RS232/422/485, both with 5kV isolation. For Wi-Fi or BT modules HID-2132 has one Full size Mini PCIe slot. For protection against power loss, a Smart Backup Battery module (which can keep running the system at least 20 minutes to give time to save data and restore power) is also available. Further optional input devices include a Handset with Barcode Scanner as well as MSR / Smart card readers. The HID-2132 also features LED reading lights on the bottom of the chassis, which come in handy, if you install the PPC on a nursing cart, so the nurses can check the patients at night, take notes, give medication etc. without switching on the room lights.
The front of this Medical Panel PC has IP65 protection and full flat design for easy cleaning. The HID-2132 is certified by IEC/EN60601-1-2 and FCC Part 15 Class B that makes this Panel PC an excellent device for various medical applications.
