IEI has introduced the new ATX mainboard IMBA-Q470 with support for Comet Lake and Rocket Lake generation processors: Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3, Pentium and Celeron. The board is based on the Intel Q470 chipset and has integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics with the ability to display images on 3 independent displays. Up to 4 DDR4 SDRAM 2933 MHz with a total capacity of up to 128 GB can be installed.
The IMBA-Q470 motherboard offers a selection of I/O interfaces: 2 x GLAN 2.5GbE, 13 x USB, 6 x COM, 4 x SATA 6 Gb/s, 1 x SMBus and 1 x I2C, as well as expansion slots: 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 3 x PCIe 3.0 x4 and 3 x PCI. It should be noted that the PCI bus, although outdated, is still actively used in the industry. M.2 slots are also provided for installing various expansion modules and high-speed drives: 1 x M.2 2230 A key (PCIe 3.0 x1, USB 2.0) and 1 x M.2 2242/2280 M Key (PCIe 3.0 x4).
Another noteworthy feature of the new mainboard is its compatibility with the new Microsoft Windows 11 OS.
