Axiomtek has unveiled a new ATX processor board, named IMB760 and based on the Intel C627A chipset with sockets for two Intel Xeon Scalable 3rd Generation Ice Lake-SP CPUs. The combination of two powerful processors together with AI accelerators allows for efficient load balancing and maximum computing power. In addition, the presence of 6 PCI Express slots and the ability to install up to 1 TB of DDR4 RAM make it possible to create an optimal platform for solving various tasks, including: resource-intensive computing, artificial intelligence, deep learning and big data.
The board has two LGA4189 sockets for installing Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs and 16 slots for DDR4-3200 R-DIMM RAM, the maximum amount of which is limited to 1TB. 4 PCIe x16 Gen4 slots and 2 PCIe x8 Gen4 slots for installing AI accelerators and expansion cards.
Drives can be connected to 8x SATA-600 with support for RAID 0/1/5/10 redundancy or two M.2 key M 2280 (PCIe x4/SATA) slots with support for high-speed NVMe SSD drives and the ability to work in RAID mode 0/1.
The IMB760 board comes with a large number of I/O interfaces: 2 x 10GbE Ethernet, 6 x USB 3.2 Gen1, 6 x USB 2.0 and 1 x RS-232/422/485. In addition, an optional IPMI interface (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) is available on the board, which allows users to remotely manage and control the server regardless of the operating system installed on it.
