The NViS 1482, the latest model of NEXCOM's popular Network Video Recorders (NVR), provides outstanding performance in a compact format. Equipped with Intel's top-end Elkhart Lake CPU and featuring an 11th generation UHD GPU, the NVR Embedded Surveillance Server is the ideal complement for video surveillance and data storage with high-resolution IP cameras. The NViS 1482 features 32GB of high-end DDR4 RAM with 3200MHz clock speed to process data in minimal computing time. Up to eight IP cameras can be directly connected to the system via the integrated PoE IEEE802.3af/at compliant Power-over-Ethernet ports with 10/100 Mbps bandwidth without any additional cabling. Recorded video can be instantly backed up to the cloud or network attached storage (NAS) via an onboard Intel LAN port with 2.5 GbE as an uplink and easily viewed live or archived via displays with DVI-I or HDMI connection.
Innovative technology with high added value
The exceptional performance of the processor and graphics combined with fast Ethernet networks are the result of Intel's latest solutions for high-performance hardware. The core element of the compact desktop NVR is the efficient 8th generation Elkhart Lake Quad Core CPU optimized for multitasking. Supporting up to 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, the system operates and responds without delay even under heavy computational load. The optimal complement to this outstanding performance is the integrated Intel UHD Graphics from the 11th generation for maximum detail in processing and display. With all these advantages, it would still be an omission not to point out the high bandwidth for the network, which the 2.5 GbE Ethernet provides in combination with another 1 GbE LAN port for fast data transfer.
Impressive quality of records
Video surveillance by NVR would be meaningless without multiple cameras connected to it, that`s why the NViS 1482 embedded server has eight 10/100 Mbps ports that support up to eight end devices compliant with 802.3af PoE at 15.4 watts each or four compliant with PoE Plus 802.3at at 30 watts. This allows the system to capture detailed and clear high-definition images at up to 4K resolution and 2M frame rate, or in complex environments through cameras with a maximum of 9 channels at 30 FPS each. With its universal design, it also has compatibility with a high number of different models from different manufacturers and is recommended for use with Milestone XProtect as video surveillance management software, among others. The embedded server has LEDs on the front panel to control the activity of each PoE output. In addition, a 3.5'' drive bay for SATA HDD with up to 18 TB capacity allows local storage of data. For these reasons, the NViS 1482 in combination with professional providers of software video management systems is the ideal choice for retail, small business, office space, hospitality or home office and in combination with Vehicle Mount PC such as the VMC 2020 allows mobile monitoring, for example in logistics and warehouses.
Easy, safe and secure
The NVR NViS 1482 is specifically designed for quick and easy implementation of video surveillance and includes a number of mechanisms for maximum security and reliability. The rich I/O includes six USB ports and allows graphical output via Independent Dual View on two independent displays via DVI or HDMI with resolutions up to 4K. For easy mounting, the chassis conforms to the 1U rackmount standard, but is also suitable for wall mounting with appropriate brackets. The integrated Trusted Platform Module 2 (TPM) together with the UL 62368 standard ensures that the system meets the standards for security in electrical IT environments.
