Taiwanese company Axiomtek has announced release of a new industrial embedded board CAPA520. The board supports 8th and 9th generation processors codenamed Whiskey Lake and Coffee Lake and is has 1 slot for installing up to 16GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM. With a compact size of 146x104 mm, the board is equipped with a fairly wide range of I / O ports:
- USB ports: 3x USB 2.0, 3x USB 3.0
- COM ports: 1x RS-232/422/485
- SATA: 2x SATA-600
- Video interfaces: 1x HDMI, 1x LVDS, 1x DisplayPort with support for 3 independent displays
- Ethernet channels: up to 3x 10/100/1000Mbps
- Expansion slots: 1x PCI Express Mini Card with mSATA support
- Digital I/O ports: 1x DIO 8-channel (4-in/4-out)
There are 4 models in the CAPA520PH series, their main differences are chipset and the number of LAN ports.

To ensure reliable operation, CAPA520 board has a built-in programmable watchdog timer with a range of 1-255s and also supports hardware monitoring function of the central processor, temperature, voltage and fan speed. CAPA520 CPU board supports the Windows 10 operating system.
