Axiomtek has announced the upcoming release of a new model of industrial computer series GOT - GOT-315A-ELK-WCD. Preliminarily, the model is expected to enter the market at the end of Q1 2023.
New model GOT-315A-ELK-WCD is an example of a "classic" modern industrial panel computer. The overall design is taken from the performance that was already used in the previous generation models, namely, a 15.6-inch flat touch screen with an IP65 degree of protection on the front panel; aluminum case in basic for Axiomtek "steel" color; support for panel mounting and VESA 100 standard fasteners; completely fanless cooling system. The main feature lies in the hardware of the novelty. The key element of the computing logic is the Elkhart Lake Intel Celeron J6412 generation processor with a base clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. Four independent cores providing four threads, today, are a sufficient condition in terms of performance to solve most simple tasks in industry and business. For the processing speed of information required by the processor in the process of performing operations, the RAM is responsible for the 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM format, one slot, with the maximum possible capacity of 32GB. As GOT-315A-ELK-WCD comes with an Intel Celeron J6412 processor pre-installed, the 10th generation Intel UHD graphics system is responsible for graphics functions. Video interfaces VGA and HDMI 1.4. To install information storage devices, a 2.5 ”HDD / SSD bay (support for drive thicknesses of 7 mm and 9.5 mm) and an mSATA slot are used. The set of input-output ports is diverse, namely:
- 1xRS-232/422/485 (additional 2xCOM can be installed)
- 4xUSB 3.2 Gen2
- 1xGbit LAN, controller Intel I210-AT
- 1x2.5Gbit, controller Intel I226-LM
- Audio port (Line In/Out)
- 2-pin terminal block for connecting a remote on/off button
- 9V~36V DC extended range power terminal block
As it has become traditional for Axiomtek computers, there is an AT/ATX switch, to solve the problem of the need to automatically turn on the computer when power is supplied to the network. Let's also note that there is a separate ground screw on the case.
On the top of the GOT-315A-ELK-WCD case there are technological holes for installing additional wireless antennas. The supported format of Wi-Fi modules is M.2 key E 2230. A distinctive feature of the novelty is also the operating temperature range from -10°C to 50°C, which is not common in this category of solutions called "standard classic equipment".
The new model GOT-315A-ELK-WCD is a worthy heir to the continuation of the traditions laid down in the entire GOT family of industrial panel computers. Strict industrial performance combined with a modern computing base allows us to solve most of the current problems, with the prospect of investing in the future for the next few years.
