Durabook has unveiled fanless rugged 8” tablet PC Durabook R8 which features aluminum-magnesium alloy casing, IP66 protection rate and 12th generation Intel Core i7-1250U processor. The Durabook R8 meets the dual needs of performance and portability, enabling users to efficiently tackle the toughest industrial and transportation environments.
The tablet's compact dimensions of 227 x 150 x 20.5 mm and light weight of 0.86 kg make it easy to carry around. The Durabook R8 features an 8" LCD display with 800 nits of brightness for exceptional image quality in direct sunlight, while the capacitive touchscreen detects up to 10 simultaneous touches and allows operation with gloves, even when the display gets wet.
Durabook R8 is 1.8m drop tested, certified to MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G and ANSI C1D2, and IP66 dust, dirt and water resistant, making it the most reliable 8- inch mobile PC.
The tablet has a 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth V5.2, Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Gen2 wireless interfaces. Optional 8-megapixel rear camera, GPS module and 4G/LTE are available. In addition, you can install expansion modules: barcode scanner, card reader, RFID / NFC scanner, magnetic card reader, serial port, Ethernet and USB 3.2.
