Equipped with an Intel Core i5/i7 or Celeron CPU of the powerful Tiger Lake generation, the DRPC-W-TGL embedded PC offers modernized processors optimized for efficiency, enabling excellent performance with minimal consumption and a long runtime for mobile devices. Its compact and robust design makes it an ideal candidate for mounting as a fanless DIN-rail embedded PC in industrial production or in technical automation, for example in buildings.

As an enclosure, the rugged and space-saving DRPC-W-TGL uses a compact chassis with passive cooling through external cooling fins and a special thermal design that enables the rapid dissipation of heat from critical components such as the CPU. The processor consists of an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 or Celeron CPU and delivers up to 4.8 GHz on a maximum of eight virtual threads, while power dissipation is only 15 watts TDP waste heat. With a DDR3 RAM expandable up to 64 GB as working memory, it additionally offers itself as an embedded platform for data-intensive calculations.

Due to its compact and effective design, the rugged and compact embedded PC DRPC-W-TGL is equally suitable for flexible mounting in protected control cabinets as well as for discrete installation, for example as a thin client at workstations. In addition to the primary interfaces such as quad USB and triple LAN with 2.5 Gps, the native I/O also includes M.2 in Key A and Key B and graphic outputs for a maximum of three independent displays or touch screens. The modular design also enables a high degree of system customization and ensures quick and easy installation of additional components.

For use in harsh environments, the DRPC-W-TGL has a waterproof seal up to IP68 and facilitates mounting in special high rugged cases for added protection. Although the DRPC-W-TGL operates as a headless embedded server in most cases, it also enables graphical output on three screens with resolutions up to 4K. For this reason, and because of its rugged design, its primary applications include logistics in road transport and transport and passenger trains, shipping, and aerospace, in addition to its use as a stationary industrial computer.
