Weintek has presented a 12" cMT X Standard HMI model, named cMT2128X, which comes with new hardware and software solutions necessary to meet modern market requirements.
The cMT2128X is equipped with powerful hardware including a quad-core processor, 4GB Flash, 1GB RAM, wide viewing angle (89°) display, two Ethernet ports, and a full set of serial ports (RS232 2W/4W, RS485 2W/4W, SIEMENS MPI).
As for the software, it offers many exclusive features, such as secure file transfer, multimedia support, and mobile/remote monitoring, all designed to improve the performance and applicability of the HMI.
Among the features of the new HMI’s software there is also support for a fully encrypted FTP server, support for reading PDF files, a video player, and an IP/USB camera, as well as support for VNC, WebView (web access), cMT Viewer (app access) and Weincloud (cloud remote access).
Smooth transition
Switching to the new model provides a quick and easy upgrade for users. Because the cMT2128X retains the same cut-out dimension (305 x 231 mm) and screen resolution (1024 x 768) as previous 12-inch models, hardware does not require modification and projects do not need to be redesigned. For features that require some changes, update reports and change recommendations are provided to ensure a smooth transition to the new cMT2128X model.
