Axiomtek has launched the new high performance mainboard CAPA55R in a 3.5” SBC form factor. The board has dimensions of 146 x 104 x 1.6 mm and supports an 11th generation Tiger Lake processor with reduced heat dissipation: Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Celeron (TDP up to 28W).
The new CAPA55R board has 3 M.2 slots: one slot for installing an NVME drive or two slots for Wi-Fi/4G wireless modules or communication expansion modules. In addition, there are 3 video interface ports for connecting monitors: HDMI 1.4, LVDS and DisplayPort ++.
Optionally, the LVDS connector can be replaced with an eDP port. To connect peripheral devices, there are 3 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 RS-232/422/485 ports, and 2 LAN ports sipporting baud rates up to 1000 and 2500 Mbps. This is the first board from Axiomtek to support 2.5Gbps data transfer.
The reversed location of the processor and SSD slot on the bottom side of the board allows for a fanless solution and heat dissipation to the computer case. In addition, the mainboard is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, which makes it possible to use the solution in unheated rooms.
CAPA55R mainboard is designed for creating embedded solutions, IIoT projects, kiosks, terminals and various solutions for process automation.
