Axiomtek team has developed a new networking platform for embedded systems: NA346. The device features four independent LAN ports with the Intel i211 controller and is designed for use as entry-level network equipment for SD-WAN, VPN and security gateways for industrial networks and IoT (Internet of Things).
The development of wireless data transmission and the introduction of new generation 5G communication networks demands the highest speed and widest bandwidth for data transmission.
Because of this trend, the new NA346 is equipped with two mini-PCIe slots and a SIM card socket supporting 3G/4G/LTE communication, as well as a slot for 5G modules, which significantly expands the possibilities of application in the IoT and AIoT applications.
