New models are designed to expand the range of ATX form-factor boards and provide support for 9th generation processors, thus, the new mainboards are direct "heirs" of previously released boards: for IMB523VDHGGA-Q370 it is IMB523RVDHGGA-Q370, for IMB524VDHGGA-H310 it is IMB524RVDHGGA-H310 and for IMB525VDHGGA-C246 it is IMB525RVDHGGA-C246. The R in the model name indicates support for the Coffee-Lake Refresh generation CPUs. In addition, the maximum RAM volume has increased: for mainboards based on the C246 and Q370 chipsets it is now 128GB, and for the motherboard on the H310 chipset it is 64GB. The basic selection of I/O interfaces remains the same.
