The newest AIMB-233 series includes 4 Mini-ITX boards, differing in CPU. The low-end model AIMB-233G2-U0A1E is based on the dual-core Intel Celeron 4305UE, while three other models have Intel Core processors:
- i3-8145UE for AIMB-233G2-U3A1E
- i5-8365UE for AIMB-233G2-U5A1E
- i7-8665UE for AIMB-233G2-U7A1E
It is worth mentioning that all these processors are classified as mobile, being characterized by low heat dissipation. This feature allowed Advantech engineers to apply a passive cooling system
There are two SO-DIMM slots for installing DDR4 2400 RAM on the AIMB-233 boards. The maximum amount of RAM is limited to 32GB. Two "classic" SATA drives can be used as a storage device.
All four models feature the same selection of I/O interfaces:
- 6xCOM, 6xUSB, 2xLAN
- HDMI, LVDS
- 1xPCIe, M.2 slots
- Mic-In, Line-Out
