IPC2U introduces the new PDA MODAT-200. The MODAT-200 is based on the Samsung 6410 ARM11 667MHz CPU and offers a 3.5“ resistive Touch Screen. Data storage proceeds over 128MB SDRAM as well as shock and vibration resistant 128MB NAND Flash. Furthermore a microSD slot for an additional memory card is available. Communication with other devices is possible by WLAN 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. The MODAT-200 has also an USB Client.
The MODAT-200 can ensure real time data communication for example in order to provide faster and better service with much more information. The service personnel can transmit orders immediately after their receipt without additional waiting time. Furthermore the MODAT-200 enables the service personal to provide customers with the most current information or special offers of restaurant like daily prices.
The MODAT-200 supports an active customer management by information about bonus points, VIP status or table availability. Of course, the MODAT-200 is capable to withstand all pressures that occur in everyday business. It is equipped with IP54 protection grade and can withstand a fall from 1.2m height. The device can operate under temperatures between -10°C and 50°C. It is also protected against static electricity, which arise by service personal or customers touching and can lead to the destroying of the device.
