The VES 31-4S/VES 31-8S are unmanaged mobile PoE switches specifically designed for telematics applications in challenging environments. These switches feature a fanless, dustproof enclosure and offer 6/10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including 4/8 IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE+ ports, ensuring efficient transmission of large volumes of video, voice, and critical data across the Ethernet network. To address the inherent instability of vehicle power sources, these mobile PoE switches support a wide voltage input range from 9VDC to 36VDC and include smart power management features such as low battery voltage protection, power-on and power-off delay timers, and automatic ignition power on/off functions. These features ensure reliable operation and help prevent premature failure of both the PoE switches and connected vehicles. The VES 31-4S/VES 31-8S are compact, support optional DIN rail mounting, and are built to withstand shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 70°C, making them ideal for use with PD devices like IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points.
