Protocol converter MGate MB3170-M-SC represents a new series of gateways for conversion of Modbus TCP into Modbus RTU/ASCII that allow transmission of data at great distances over a fiber optic cable. The model is equipped with a universal RS-232/422/485 COM-port (DB9M, terminal block) and 100 Base FX optical port with a SC slot that uses multi-mode fiber. The converter is characterized by an industrial grade design and supports additional intelligent features: Modbus Traffic Monitor, Serial Port Routing, Priority Control.
