The ICG-2210W-NR is an industrial 5G NR cellular gateway that, in addition to the latest 5G mobile standard, supports dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN and WLAN 802.11. Its advanced security features make it ideal for mobile or fixed connections of critical infrastructure to remote sites.
For redundant, high-bandwidth mobile Internet access, the ICG-2210W-NR uses two micro-SIM cards and offers full 5G speeds up to 2.4 Gbps. A 2 dBi integrated Wi-Fi antenna plus four external 5G NR antennas ensure optimal reception, even in shielded enclosures or vehicle cabins. Local networking is provided by dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and dual-band WLAN 802.11 a/n/ac at 5 GHz and 802.11 g/b/n at 2.4 GHz. It can also function simultaneously as a multi-band access point for maximum compatibility and throughput.
As an industrial 5G gateway for critical environments, the ICG-2210W-NR emphasizes security. It supports up to 30 VPN tunnels over IPSec, OpenVPN, and other protocols for LAN integration as server or client. WLAN encryption and authentication include WEP, WPA, and WPA2 (AES/TKIP) with MAC-address filtering. A built-in Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall automatically detects and blocks DDoS and similar attacks. Configuration and monitoring are handled via an HTTPS web interface, SNMP (v3), or SSH access.
With an operating range of –40 °C to +70 °C, the ICG-2210W-NR is suitable for sheltered outdoor or vehicle installations. Serial COM ports (RS232 and RS485) allow direct device communication, making it ideal for applications such as automation, video surveillance, site interconnection, remote monitoring of sensors and IP devices, and mobile or fixed IoT and failover systems.
