EMPA-I101-C1 AI Accelerator Card with Movidus Myriad X VPU for Frameworks like Caffe, MXNet, Tensorflow, mPCIe Slot, Fanless Design The EMPA-I101-C1 is an AI accelerator card for fast computation of algorithms by artificial intelligence (AI), which can be integrated even in embedded systems and servers due to its compact mini PCIe format and low requirements. For high performance and seamless integration into the development process of individual applications as well as high compatibility with different environments, the EMPA-I101-C1 AI accelerator card uses the Movidus Myriad X VPU (Vision Processing Unit) developed by Intel. This provides a solution to perform computationally challenging and data-intensive tasks such as facial recognition, vehicle and license plate identification, or other optical analysis in industrial, commercial, and public systems. Among the frameworks supported by the AI accelerator card are the open source platform Tensorflow, which is meant for the analysis of data streams, the library Caffe, which is optimized for Deep Learning, or MXNet, which was developed by Apache. As operating systems, the EMPA-I101-C1 supports both the proprietary Microsoft Windows 10 and open-source Linux distributions including Ubuntu.
