Despite having just a few ports, Gigabit switch EDS-G205A-4PoE-T provides ultimate features. Firstly, all 5 Ethernet ports correspond to Full Gigabit 10/100/1000 Base TX standard. Secondly, the switch refers to PSE (Power Source Equipment) class: 4 out of 5 ports support Power-Over-Ethernet technology to supply power to connected clients over a network cable. Thirdly, the device is equipped with a redundant power input and is capable of operating in extreme temperature modes. L2 switch EDS-G205A-4PoE-T by MOXA: description and features: IEEE 802.3ab and 802.3z protocols support the majority of Gigabit communication standards: 1000 Base TX/SX/LX/LHX/ZX. IEEE 802.3at protocol secures PoE+ functioning in the increased power mode. The switch can provide power of 36W to each of 4 PoE ports simultaneously. There is support of intelligent detection and automatic supply of PoE devices. Smart PoE functions provide protection against overload and short circuits. The extended MAC-address table (8 000) facilitates the self-learning mode and traffic localization. Packet buffer size - 136 KB. There is built-in Jumbo Frame support - 9.6 KB. The redundant power supply circuit secures uninterruptible operation. Input voltage: 24…48 V DC. Power consumption: 180 W (7.5 A at 24 V and at load of 30 W per each PoE port). The design solutions make the device capable of stable operation at temperatures ranged from -40 to +75 °С and 95% humidity. The ultra-slim fanless industrial grade chassis that rates IP 30 features compact size (29х135х105), and can be mounted on a wall or a DIN-rail. Hence, EDS-G205A-4PoE-T is a perfect solution for creation of full-featured Gigabit segments in case, when you do not need the abilities of a managed switch with numerous ports. Four PoE ports secure independent functioning of the connected devices of any power (e.g. highly-efficient access points), increase network flexibility and save resources on laying separate power supply routes.
