IPC2U presents the Rugged Durabook U12C. This rugged notebook is equipped with a resistive 12.1“ WXGA Touch Screen and can be deployed under very different extrem conditions. Regarding to shock and vibration resistance it is compliant with the MIL-STD-810G standard, that means it can survive free fall from 1.22m height. Also it is well-suitable for deployment within wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C (with SSD). Great value is set to security. Beside a finger scanner, giving access to the computer only after fingerprint examining ,the Durabook has a TPM. Threreby clear hardware identification is possible. To prevent ripping off the notebook out of user hands or holder it can be secured with a Kennsington Lock.
Further features upgrade Durabook U12C in field deployment. So the rugged laptop is equipped with Stealth mode, that means that all sounds and light sources at the notebook can be switched off with a single click. Particularily in undercover surveiilance it has great important.
Furthermore, a HDD can be exchanged within a few seconds.
With additional batterie the computer can work up to 8 hours.
Regarding performance and connectivity the Durabook U12C ist also well-equipped. It can be upgraded with Intel i3 or i5 and with up to 4GB DDR3 RAM.
The Durabook U12C is well-suitable for deployment in field, industry or in construction sites, which require a rugged but at the same time powerful and flexible extensible solution.
