IPC2U introduces the 3.5“ WAFER-CV boards. These with Intel Atom CPUs equipped boards feature frame heatsink thermal design for fanless solutions. There are 3 versions of this board: WAFER-CV-D25501 with Intel Dual Core D2550 1.86GHz CPU, WAFER-CV-N26001 with Intel Dual Core D2600 1.6GHz CPU and WAFER-CV-N28001 with Intel Dual Core N2800 1.86GHz CPU.
These processors are power-saving and at the same time powerful. Together with up to 4GB DDR3 RAM (D2550 and N2800 CPUs) or 2GB DDR3 RAM (N2600), they ensure a performance, which is well-suitable almost for all industries.
The boards are outfitted with a modern UEFI BIOS, allowing faster booting as conventional BIOS as well as 2,2TB data HDD capacities.
Despite compact size of 146x150mm the board hosts 1x RS422/485, 3x RS232, 6x USB2.0, 2x Gbit LAN; 1x PS/2 KB/MS as well as 2x SATAII (3Gbit/s). Thus it is possible to establish stable connection to the Internet as well as to connect a lot of peripheral and data storage devices. There are 1x VGA and 2x LVDS for display control, whereby two independent displays can be supported. For data acquisition tasks there are also 4x DI/ 4x DO.
The board is robust and works between -20°C and +70°C. Should a system failure occur, the watchdog automatically reboots the system. The WAFER is outfitted with the one key recovery function. Therefore, all data and system adjustments can be recovered from back up with a single click.
