VDX3-6726: a 3.5" motherboard with PC/104 connector from ICOP
ICOP company has unveiled VDX3-6726, a fanless 3.5” mainboard with a PC/104 connector. The VDX3-6726 board is based on the Vortex86DX3 processor and is specifically designed to replace solutions on the discontinued AMD LX800 processor.
Compared with AMD LX800 solutions, the VDX3-6726 mainboard with Vortex86DX3 CPU has lower power consumption, higher performance, and economy, which can be applied to a wide range of applications such as data acquisition, industrial automation, process control, etc.
The new mainboard has compact dimensions of 102 x 146 mm and also supports various embedded operating systems ranging from Windows and Linux to POS Ready (WePOS) and QNX. To connect peripherals, standard interfaces such as LAN, RS-232/485, USB are provided, as well as specific ones: a parallel port and a PC/104 bus.
The VDX3-6726 board is available in several modifications:
