TANK-101B - multifunctional TANK solution for transportation

IPC2U presents TANK-101B. This fanless Embedded PC is particularly designed for applications in transportation. To match strong vibrations, typically for vehicles, the embedded computer complies with Computer MIL-STD-810F 514.5C-1 with SATA HDD or MIL-STD-810F 514.5C-2 with SATA SSD/CF. For vibration resistant operations CompactFlash/ SATADOM can be used. Alternatively, a 2.5“ HDD can be installed. The TANK-101B can operate within a wide voltage range between 9VDC and 36VDC. Thus, the Embedded System can be used not only in cars and trucks but also in numerous industry applications. High functionality of the PC is ensured by a lot of interfaces such as 2x Gbit LAN, 4x USB 2.0, 3x RS232 und 1x RS232/422/485. The RS232/422/485 interface is provided with 15kV ESD and 3000VDC galvanic isolation. One of the LAN interfaces is equipped with the ASF 2.0 function, which allows remote control and alert function. Furthermore, there are 2 CAN ports onboard. They ensure a fast data transmission with minimal data losses und provide bus arbitration with error detection and automatical transmission repeat function. This makes the computer particularly suitable for utilization in industry automation and process control as it can be used for reliable and rapid connection of sensors and remote signal transmission. For wireless communication the TANK-101B is equipped with a WiFi 802.11 module.

The TANK-101B can be, if needed, upgraded with different CPUs. It can be chosen between a powerful Intel Atom Dual Core D525 1.8GHz and a power-saving Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz CPU. 1GB DDR3 is onboard, a further GB can be upgraded.
The Embedded System works reliably depending on features between -10°C - +50°C and -20°C - +70°C.
