IPC2U announces: Reasonable Infrastructure Solutions with Battery Backup Power Module

The brand new (BBP®) or Battery Backup Power technology comes up with certain new and innovative features, incorporated with the purpose of offering a low cost infrastructure solution for storage options and the critical server, the failure of which leads to a failure of the business operations, in particular. The PWS-1K03B-1R is the industry’s first Battery Backup Power Module, which is also included in the redundant AC power supply in very much the same form. This hot- swappable module fits perfectly well into the chassis, 1U/2U/3U/4U and paves the way for high output power in 1000W per 2.5 min and 1200W per 1 min options. These can further be implemented in the 2+2, 1+1+1 or 1+2 configurations. The PWS-206B-1R promises BBP® protection in 100W/15min and 200W/5min options for the 1U servers.

Prominent Benefits of the Battery Backup Power technology

The high availability server comes up with a number of benefits, such as these:

The module increases the power efficiency of the overall data center to a significant extent.
It eliminates the traditional UPS while maintaining the redundancy of the system power at the same time.

Availability of the flexible configurations for the systems.
1. The Battery Backup Power Module is a way more cost- effective option than the traditional UPS.
2. The module is also available in 200W and 1000W battery capacities. The back-up time can be extended rather easily by the addition of N+1 application.
3. The high availability server paves the way for a flexible system control and calls for Power Down options. Thus, it finds appropriate application in the AC failure situation.

The Battery Backup Power module, which replaces the traditional USP, is compatible with a range of super servers that include the 1027R-72BRFTP, 5017R-MTRF, 5017C-MTRF, 6017B- MTRF and the 6037R-72RFT. The high level of compatibility that this battery backup power module facilitates makes it suitable for application in the related fields.
