The VES30-4S offers five RJ45 Gigabit LAN ports with four ports with integrated power supply according to the IEEE 802.3af standard. This ensures complete compatibility of the VES30-4S with active IP devices with PoE power consumption as well as with passive network devices without the power supply via LAN. All interfaces for uplink and downlink use Gigabit Ethernet with a transfer rate of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, which enables the VES30-4S to transmit lossless information even in extremely data-intensive applications such as NAS or 4K video streaming. For efficient management, the VES30-4S has a 4K Address Table with auto learning for new and aging for rarely or no longer used IP devices.
VES30-4S are mobile PoE switch with fanless enclosure designed for telematics applications in harsh environments thanks to support wide operating temperatures of -30C to 70C and MIL-STD certifications. With four 802.3af PoE ports which offering 15.4 watts of power, the In-vehicle Ethernet Switch facilitate device integration by eliminating the need for separate power lines and can easily bring, for instance Ethernet service onboard to enhance passenger experience or incorporate surveillance cameras to strengthen the safety and security.
The VES30-4S PoE switch also has small size (167 x 51.49 x 139.6 mm) and support DIN Rail mounting, wall-mount and vertical(optional) for ease of installation.
