ROBO-8111VG2AR - PICMG 1.3 Mainboard with Intel Xeon CPU

IPC2U GmbH presents the PICMG 1.3 ROBO-8111VG2AR mainboard. This board is equipped with the energy-saving, high-powered and scalable Intel Xeon E3-1200v2 series CPU, which were specially developed for servers of small and middle-sized companies. Alternatively, the board also supports the Intel Core i3 CPU. Up to 16GB DDR3 RAM ensure high performance capability of the system too and give space for demanding applications. For connection of data storage devices there are 2x SATAIII (6GB/s) and 4x SATAII (3GB/s) as well supporting RAID 0,1,5,10 for redundancy. Moreover, a floppy disk drive connector can be connected over FDD connector.

System extension is possible via PCIe slot, which can be used without further physical devices like bridge or jumper as 1x PCIe x16, 2x PCIe x8 or 1x PCI x8 +2x PCIe x4. Furthermore, the PICMG Board supports PCI with up to PCI connectors at the backplane.
The ROBO-8111VG2AR has a lot of interfaces such as 1x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485, 2x USB 3.0, 10x USB 2.0 (6 of them internal) and 1x Parallel Port, which allow high integrativeness of the board. For switch or measurement tasks the user can deploy 8 bit GPIO. Connection to the network proceeds over 2x Gbit LAN. Displays can be connected by DVI-I (for VGA and DVD) and HDMI interfaces.
The ROBO-8111VG2AR is well-suitable for automation, deployment in health-care and digital signage.
