IPC2U presents an extreme rugged embedded controller Rigid-732, which provides wide temperature tolerance range between -40 and 70°C that enwidens the application range. Rigid-732 is provided with Intel GM45/ ICH9M chipset and supports the Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU, which ensure its high performance and reliability. Rigid-732 is equipped with fundamental I/O interface and expansion bus, including Gigabit Ethernet, RGB, DVI, TV-out, 6 USB ports, mini-card slot and 2 PCI slots. It supports up to 4GB DDR2 SO-DIMM RAM and wide range DC power input from 10 to 28V.
Rigid-732 was developed for industrial control application, where any crash could lead to system failure so the reliability and stability are significant factors and highly required. The rugged design of Rigid-732 not only fulfils the CE and FCC certifications but also passes anti-vibration (3G), anti-shock (60G) and anti-crash (80G) test. Thus the Rigid-732 is suitable for applications such as industrial automation, transportation control system, digital signage, toll station, ticket machine, car PC and Kiosk.
Additionaly the Rigid-732 is designed as a fanless controller. Adopting aluminum construction designed with fins enables Rigid-732 to enhance heat dissipation efficiency. The wide-range operating temperature feature also fits harsh condition. For example, it can be easily deployed with equipment in areas such as oil drilling, snow removal vehicle and energy control. The Rigid-732 is well-suitable for industrial applications, and customers will benefit from these outstanding features.
